Allyn L. Johnson
1956 – 2009

LEWISTON — Allyn L. Johnson, 52, of New Gloucester, passed away on Sept. 7, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a short illness.

He was born Oct. 6, 1956, the son of Eugene H. Johnson and Natalie A. (Haskell) Johnson. He was the fourth of six children. He was employed for a time at Frank C. Meyer and also at Papoose Campground. He enjoyed fishing and woodcrafting.

He is survived by his sister, Yvonne A. Johnson of New Gloucester; brothers, Darryl S. Johnson of Black River, N.Y., and Dale Johnson of Manchester, N.H.; his companion of many years, BettyAnn Johnson of New Gloucester; his aunts, cousins, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.

He was predeceased by his sister, Katrina A. Johnson Hamilton in July 1992; his father, Eugene H. Johnson in August 1995; and older brother, Dennis E. Johnson in October 1996.
