Square dance

 WINTHROP — The Squire Town Squares square dance club will host a
free introductory class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at
the Winthrop Grade School, 23 Highland Ave.
Anyone interested in exercising both their body and brain and with
little or no square dancing experience is invited to join the club and
their new caller, Walter Bull, to learn to square dance.

Dog obedience

AUBURN — The Great Falls Dog Obedience Club will begin a six-week
dog obedience class on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Dogs and puppies must be at
least 3 1/2 months old and vaccinated. Beginners class is at 6:30 p.m.
and advanced at 7:30. For more information and to register, call the

Cribbage play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at
the Multi-Purpose Center on Sept. 17 were: first, Roger Briggs and
Maurice Morrissette; second, Gary David and Bill Mickalide; third,
Marty Boyd and Roger Labbe; fourth: Sandy Verrill and Val Asselin.

Another game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. For further information, call Roger Labbe at 212-9253.
