Marguerite M. Lavallee
1926 – 2009
LEWISTON — Marguerite M. Lavallee, 83, of 20 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Brunswick, the daughter of the late Samuel and Adelise Lavallee. She was educated in Brunswick schools and graduated from Mount Merici Academy in Waterville.
She worked as housekeeper for the Rev. Maurice Plourd and the Rev. Harold Nicknair for many years prior to her retirement. She had a tremendous devotion to her Lord, her rosary and her family.
She was a very generous, loving and caring person who served others her entire life. She enjoyed crocheting, making many, many afghans which she ultimately donated to everyone.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at Sacred Heart Church, Golden Age Club and A.A.R.P.
She is survived by a sister, Anne-Marie Hall of East Windsor, Conn., and Spring Hill, Fla.; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Vincent Lavallee; and two sisters, Jeannette and Bernadette.
