1937 – 2009
OXFORD — Harold C. Moore, 72, of Oxford died unexpectedly and peacefully at home on Sept. 27.
He was born Feb. 25, 1937, to Lawrence “Pop” and Olive B. Moore. He graduated from Paris High School in 1955. He was in the 3rd Armored Division stationed in Germany from 1955 to 1958 and was honorably discharged in 1961.
He worked for Maine Machine Products for 33 years and retired in 1999.
He love fishing, boating, hunting, gardening and family gatherings.
He leaves behind and will be sadly missed by a brother, Larry Moore, and a sister Laurence Moore, both of South Paris; sons, Scot Moore and his wife, Betty and Leo C. Moore of Oxford; a daughter, Perian Moore and her husband, Michael Clarke, of Bath; son, Harold Craig Moore ll and his long time partner, Brydie; he will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, T.J. Devlin, Michael Moore, Kyle Ring, Nikki Ring, Tyler Moore, Allyson Moore, Spencer Moore, Phillip Moore, James Archer, Susan Johnson and Mikey Clarke’ and great-grandsons, Colin Devlin, Jacob Kimball, William McLaughlin and Johnathan Cook.
He was predeceased by his mother and father; and long time companion, Glenna Dresser.
