SABATTUS — Richard L. Nadeau, 69, of Main Street, Sabattus, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, at his residence.
He was born in Lewiston, May 8, 1940, the son of the late Merrill and Cecile Poussard Nadeau. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was married May 7, 1960 to Lucille St.Laurent at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He owned and operated Nadeau Construction Co. prior to his retirement.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, gardening and lobstering.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille of Sabattus; two daughters, Monique McLellan and husband, Sean and Rachel Damon and husband, Lenny, all of Lewiston; a son, Dr. Richard Nadeau and wife, Rachel, of Lewiston; nine grandchildren, Justin, Jenna, Chantel, Devin, Bradley, Steve, Mitch, Misti and Alexis; also two great-grandsons, Adam and Ryan; four brothers, Alcide and wife, Lucille, of Florida, Roger and wife, Muriel, of Lewiston, Raymond and wife, Irene, of Greene and Ronald and wife, Marjorie, of Greene.
