Tracy Gendron-Turner and Mark Turner

RUMFORD — The wedding of Tracy Lynn Gendron and Mark William Turner was held at 2 p.m. on July 11 at St. Athanasius-St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Nathan March officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Rouleau and Mr. and Mrs. David Gendron of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Turner of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a light gold strapless slim-line gown with corset closure, embellished with lace going into a tulle skirt. She also wore a Cathedral length veil. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea with pink and white roses.

A cousin of the bride, Jennifer Pare, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kylee Gendron and Rachel Gendron, sisters-in-law of the bride, Shannon Wilding, Jaime Spencer and Andrea Croteau, friends, Shana Lajoie, cousin of the bride, and Julie Turner, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Madison Gendron, sister of the bride, and flower girls were Isabella and Jessie Gendron, nieces of the bride.

Rod Charest performed the duties of best man for his friend. Ushers were Todd Gendron and John Gendron, brothers of the bride, and Jason Carrier, Ken Bagley, Jon Mercier, Mike Lapointe and Keith Pelletier, friends. Joey and Johnny Gendron, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at Sunday River Ski Resort Grand Summit Ballroom in Newry, after which the couple traveled to Riveria Maya in Mexico. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride received a master’s degree in education from the University of New England and is a third-grade teacher at Montello School.

The bridegroom received his master’s degree from the University of Maine at Orono and is co-owner of Maine Source Homes.
