AUBURN — Celebrating 15 years as a stand-up comic, Bob Marley is one of the most sought-after comedians in the country. He will bring his high-energy show to Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre’s Great Falls Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

Marley may offer his take on pizza delivery, ordering food, marriage, nachos and who knows what else because he uses life experiences and personal observations as material for his high-energy routines.

A Maine native and University of Maine at Farmington graduate, Marley began his career in his hometown of Portland and then moved to Boston to gain experience in a city known for spawning comedy all-stars.

He has had his own special on Comedy Central and is one of the few comics to do the complete late-night TV circuit: “The Late Show'” with David Letterman, “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Late Night” with Conan O’Brien and “The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn.

The Oct. 18 performance is being put on by the Odd Fellows’ and Rebekahs’ Home of Maine as a part of their ongoing fundraising efforts to continue providing quality health care to to the L-A community.
