AUBURN — Local musicians will come together Sunday, Oct. 4, for a concert benefiting 5-year-old Piper Davidson of Lewiston, who has cystic fibrosis.

Performing will be Roadhouse, a five-member band, and the trio Vegetables by Day, both of whom play classic rock covers. Any other musicians who’d like to participate in an open jam at the end of the concert are welcome.

Piper, a kindergartner at Montello School, is currently at Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland. Proceeds will help her mother, Shanna Pittman, with medical expenses and to, hopefully, buy a car to replace her ’96 Mercury, which has 178,000 miles on it.

Admission is a $10 suggested donation. There will be a 50/50 raffle and refreshments.

The fundraiser will be held in the vestry at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 169 Pleasant St. Donations may be sent to Shanna Pittman, P.O. Box 2572, Lewiston, ME 04241. For more information, call 462-0741 or e-mail [email protected].
