Apple pies

RUMFORD — The Rumford Point Congregational Church will hold an apple pie sale beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. The sale will be held in front of the church and across Route 2 on the Byam’s lawn. Pies may be ordered in advance by calling Ann Morton at 665-3123 or Dotty Adams at 364-2197.

Smile fund

BETHEL — A sale to benefit the Smile Fund will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in the basement of the Bethel Congregational Church, Church Street. Proceeds from the bargain basement sale will help provide dental care for some of the needy in the area. Items at the sale will include jewelry, dishes, sporting goods, furniture, toys and antiques.

Donations to the Smile Fund, which are tax deductible, are also welcome and may be sent to: Smile Fund, WPCC, P.O. Box 23, Bethel, ME 04217.

RUMFORD — The Stephens High School Class of 1945 will hold their

LIVERMORE — The Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Carriage House Cafe, for their monthly luncheon meeting. 

Horse game show

ANDOVER — The Ellis River Riders Horse Club of Andover will hold their last all game show at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. Spectators are welcome and admission is free. There will be plenty of seating and food will be served all day. Horses will participate in games such as barrel racing and pole bending. The grounds are located on Airport Road.
