RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Anita Vance was celebrated Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and organist was Wayne Petrie. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria” and “On Eagles Wings.” Readings were given by Claire Bradley and Jeffrey Vance. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jacques at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Pallbearers were Robert Vance Jr., Jeffrey Vance, Michael Vance, David Vance, Matthew Vance, Kevin Ruff and Jason Ruff. A reception followed at the Mexico Chicken Coop, Mexico. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
