MOUNT SAVAGE, Md. – Louis Philippe Lucien Chouinard, 78, of Mount Savage, Md., passed away Friday, May 1, in Maryland.

He wa born in Lewiston, July 5, 1930, the son of the late Louis Philippe Chouinard and Carmen (Ruel) Chouinard. He retired from the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Yolande L. (Dubois) Chouinard; his daughter, Diane Ranker and her friend, Vince Conner, of Cumberland, Md.; his sons, Michael Chouinard and his wife, Deborah, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kenneth Chouinard and his wife, Renee, of Rescue, Va.; his grandsons, Cody Chouinard and Hunter Chouinard, both of Rescue, Va.; and his sister, Jeanette Litalien of Lewiston.
