BRIDGTON – Mary A. Mitchell, 77, of Casco and formerly of Norway Rehab and Living Center, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 27, at Bridgton Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1931, in Jamesville, N.Y. She will fondly be remembered as a person who enjoyed the outdoors and for helping her neighbors when they needed it.
She was the wife of Lawrence R. Mitchell, who passed away in 1994.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Mitchell of Casco; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Kim Mitchell of Coventry, R.I.; two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Reilly and a grandson, Killian, all of Coventry, R.I.; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lillian Dougherty of Fabius, N.Y.; and many more family members and friends.
