AUBURN – A celebration of life service honoring the life of Walter R. Dresser was held Thursday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with the Rev. Ray Derosiers presiding. Walter’s grandson, Chip Keene, and Walter’s granddaughter, Kristen Ortiz, both shared words of remembrance during the service. Delegations from Auburn’s Tranquil Masonic Lodge 29 A.F. & A.M and members of the Lewiston Fire Department were also in attendence. At the conclusion of services, the U.S. Navy Honor Detail played taps and presented our country’s flag to Walter’s son, Bradley Dresser. Then all in attendence were invited to a reception of fellowship at Gipper’s Restaurant in Auburn. Burial will be held later in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Oxford. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel.
