LEWISTON – Robert E. Fleury, 56, resident of Lisbon Falls, passed away unexpectedly at Central Maine Medical Center on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

He was born Feb. 24, 1952, in Auburn. Bob was a facilities director with Avesta Housing in Portland. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1971. He was a member of MREMA and the board of Northeast Regional Association of Housing Maintenance Supervisors. He was a free spirit and he lived life to the fullest, especially after meeting the love of his life, LuAnn.

He will be remembered for the never-ending love of his entire family. One of the greatest joys of his life was becoming a grandfather to Ryan Jr. His family will forever remember his infectious smile and positive attitude.

He enjoyed working around the home he shared with LuAnn. He especially enjoyed summer trips to the Eastern Shore of Virginia with LuAnn, Patti and Harry, where he fished on the Chesapeake Bay, did trips out to Cobb’s Island and generally relaxed in a place where life moved a little slower. His vibrant personality came in handy when yard sale time came to raise some gas money for the boat in Virginia.

He is survived by the love of his life, LuAnn Fleury; daughter, Jenna Fleury and partner, Jason Lampert, of Lewiston; grandson, Ryan Jr.; step-daughters, Amanda and Kristen Patrick of Boston, Mass.; stepmother, Monique Jalbert of Auburn; sisters, Regina and Arthur Potvin of Auburn, Crystal and Norman Chamberlain of Auburn, Shelly and Scott Morin of Auburn, Robin and Dana Murphy of Auburn, Mary Jane and Delmaine Allen of Massachusetts, and Linda Kemp; brothers, Michael and Bonnie Fleury of Auburn and Robert and Lisa Jalbert of Lewiston; mother-in-law, Madelyn Levesque of Lisbon Falls; sisters-in-law, Patti and Harry Moore of Lisbon, Deb and Alan Purinton of Durham, Dori Galgovitch of Lisbon Falls and Lynn and Ralph Thompson of Lisbon Falls; brother-in-law, Roger and Carol Levesque of Durham; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Constance Ouellette; his father, Robert Jalbert; two brothers, William Fleury and Roger Dumont; two sisters, Linda Audet and Heidi Fleury; a nephew, Michael Potvin; and his father-in-law, Roger Levesque Sr.
