LEWISTON – Maxine E. Crane, 86, died Monday, Jan. 12, at Montello Manor.

She was born June 16, 1922, in Auburn, the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Paul) Trask.

She worked in several factories and later became a homemaker. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Rochester, N.H. She was a member of the Rochester Women’s Club and worked on the messenger church bulletin.

Members of her family include her son, Earl G. Crane Jr. of West Farmington; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earl G. Crane Sr. in 1986; and her son, Gary E. Crane Sr. in 2002.
