LEWISTON – Richard Giem, 76, of 79 Androscoggin Ave., died Dec. 6, at d’Youville Pavilion after a short illness.

He was employed at Knapp Shoe for most of his life until retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War, member of Post 22 and the Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two sons, Richard Giem II of New York, and Robert Giem of Rhode Island; and a daughter, Jeannie and her husband, Roger Roy, of Lewiston.
