RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Bernard was celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” “You Are Mine,” “Wind Beneath My Wings” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” Readings were done by his sister-in-law, Raymonde Blouin.

A eulogy written by Brother Francis Blouin of Kisubi, Uganda, was read by Brother Marcel Crete. A eulogy written by daughter Lisa was read by Raymonde Blouin.

A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
