GARDINER – Gerald Harvey Arsenault, 61, passed from his life peacefully from natural causes, Tuesday, Nov. 4, at his home in Gardiner.

He was raised in Lisbon, where he attended school and resided for most of his adult life. He made a living in roofing and siding and worked many years for the Lisbon Public Works Department.

He tended to be the life of the party by always adding “fireworks” to an event. He loved the outdoors and fishing and hunting with his buddies. With his wit and sense of humor accompanied by his wonderful smile and twinkle in his eyes, you always knew when a good story or joke was going to be told.

He was loved by all who knew him and by those whose life he touched over the years. One being George Ayer, a very dear and close friend. Another dear friend whom he lost too early in life was Norman Michaud. Gerald also spent much of his adult life with his second wife Joyce Arsenault, whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Dewitt; his children, Tonia Ross, Jennifer Sparacio, Jerry Arsenault Jr., Sabrina Beganny; and his grandchildren, Jadia, Kayla, Mya, Alina, Amara and Brody.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Mary Arsenault; and his first wife, Dorothy L. Milliken.
