LEWISTON – Deborah “Debbie” Leslie (Langlin) Cram, 57, a resident of Gardiner Road, Wales, formerly of Monmouth, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 27, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 20, 1951, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of William Philoon and Kathleen Eudora (Safford) Langlin. Debbie was a 1969 graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner. In 1978, she married Blaine Cram of Monmouth in Lewiston.

She worked a variety of jobs through the years from the Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Livermore Falls in her teens, local shoe shops, and Globe Albany in Monmouth and Advantage Business Solutions in Auburn.

She received her realtor license and worked for Mark Stimpson Realty in Auburn and later owned and operated Cram Realty in Monmouth; she and her husband Blaine ran Family Electronics and later Heart of Maine Wood Products from their home in South Monmouth and also worked at Shaw’s Supermarket in Auburn in the bakery department.

Most recently she worked as deputy town clerk for the town of Litchfield, leaving in 2005 due to illness. She enjoyed raising heck and having fun, growing up near Bear Pond Park in North Turner, she loved roller skating, and attending Bear Pond Park reunion nights at the Rollerdrome in Auburn.

She also liked kayaking, fishing, paddle-boating and gambling. Any chance she could she would go to Foxwoods or Bangor slots. In 2005, she and her sister even made a trip to Las Vegas.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Monmouth; American Legion Auxiliary in Gardiner; Eagles Aerie 618 in Lewiston; Litchfield Sportsmans’ Club in Litchfield and Hillside Sports Club in Jay.

She is survived by her husband, Blaine and son, Nicholas Cram, of Wales; granddaughter; brothers and sisters, Brenda Houle of Livermore, Anthony “Tony” Langlin and his wife, Kay, of Turner, Dennis Langlin and his wife, Eileen, of Leeds, Barbara “Renee” Lucas and her husband, Wes, of Buckfield and Kathy Langlin of Livermore Falls; her mother and father-in-law, Bradford and Virginia Cram of Wales; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Beverly Given of Monmouth and Steve and Mary Lou Black of Augusta; two aunts, Barbara Green of Turner and Elnora Bonatakis of Chicopee, Mass.; her uncle, Bertrand “Butch” Langlin and his wife, Jane, of Livermore; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
