LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday morning for Anita Giard at Holy Family Church, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Daniels celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, where interment followed in the family lot. A delegation from the Ladies of St. Anne was in attendance and a eulogy and words of remembrance was given by her daughter, Michelle Dreager, at the conclusion of the Mass.

Pallbearers were her son, Denis Giard, James Custeau, Norm Brodeur, Robert Gagnon, Ryan Gagnon and David Brown. Arrangements were under the care of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services of Lewiston.
