NATURITA, Colo. – Laurie Kettle, 56, died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Wednesday, Oct 1, in Colorado.

She was born Laurianne Veilleux in Lewiston on April 5, 1952, to Lorna Eckles. She was raised in Monmouth and married Lendall Scott. They had three children before going their separate ways.

Laurie lived in Colorado with her husband of 12 years, Rick Kettle.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; her son, Steve Scott and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston; her daughter, Angela Glenn, of Lewiston; a sister, Lynn Busch, of Lewiston; five wonderful grandchildren, Bayley Scott, Barrett Scott, Biersen Scott, Brandon Glenn and Joseph Glenn, all of Lewiston; and a sister-in-law, Grace Veilleux, of New Hampshire.

She was predeceased by a son, Troy; her mother, Lorna; a granddaughter, Kelsie Glenn; and her brother, Robert “Mike” Veilleux.
