AUBURN – Cecile S. Allen, 86, a resident of 185 Summer St., Auburn, died Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Auburn Residential Home.

She was born in Lewiston, June 23, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Bolduc) Caron.

She was educated in Lewiston schools and worked in area shoe shops before retiring in 1984. She married Arthur Allen on Sept. 12, 1947. He died Sept. 27, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Caron and his wife, Ann and Robert Caron, all of Sabattus; one daughter, Rita Miller and her husband, Larry, of Elkridge, Md.; a special aunt, Juliette Boulanger of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, Vera Miller Carmack, Jennifer Miller Raccuglia and Eric Miller, all of Maryland; and five great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Annette Grenier.
