NORWAY – Thomas A. Berryment, 67, of Bryant Pond, died Monday, Aug. 4, after a brief illness, surrounded by friends and family his last few days.
He was born in Bryant Pond on March 16, 1941, the son of Herbert and Hazel Berryment Sr.
He worked as a licensed wood scaler at various log yards his whole life. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Genneth (Ryerson) Berryment of Bryant Pond. They had five children, Roger Berryment and his wife, Carol, of Barrington, N.H., Tony Berryment and his wife, Lisa, of Edmeston, N.Y., Mitchell Berryment and his companion, Shelly, of Manassas, Va., Kristi (Berryment) Marden and her husband, Jim, of Smithfield, and Troy Berryment, who predeceased him; grandchildren, Kandice (Berryment) Edmunds and her husband, Eric, and Rachel, Thomas, Krystal, Daniel, Ella, Walker and Derrick; great-grandchildren, Troy and Chase; one brother, Raymond Berryment; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Herbert Berryment Jr. and his wife, Margaret; and sister-in-law, Louise Berryment.
