LEWISTON – Camille R. Roy, 101, formerly of 173 Pine St., died Friday, July 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, July 19, 1906, the daughter of the late Emile and Zelpha Provencher Patry. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married in 1928 to Eugene J. Roy, who predeceased her on Jan. 16, 1970.
She was employed as a sales clerk at the B. Peck Department Store in Lewiston and later at Wieboldt’s Department Store in Chicago, after she and her husband moved there after their marriage. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Parish.
She was the beloved sister of the late Arthur (the late Jacqueline) Patry.
Mrs. Roy is survived by a daughter, Lorraine T. Wright (the late John) of Bournemouth, Dorset, England; three grandchildren, Eugene Roy (Karen Reinschreiber) and Mark Roy of Chicago, Ill. and Marie (Anthony) Gudauskas of Orland Park, Ill.; four great-grandchildren, Joseph (Michelle) Roy of Wauwatosa, Wis., Christine (fiancé, Chas Summers) of Lake Mary, Fla., and Nicholas and Vincent Gudauskas of Orland Park, Ill.; and a great-great-granddaughter, Emily Roy of Wauwatosa.
She was predeceased by a son, Eugene J. Roy, in 1931.
