LEWISTON – Weston D. Hunt, 74, a resident of Livermore Falls, died Tuesday, June 3, at d’Youville Pavilion, where he had resided for five years.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1933, in Stricklands, the son of Walter and Edith (Plummer) Hunt and attended the schools of Livermore Falls. He served in the U.S. Army during peace time.

He and his former wife Donna Crocker were married for five years and raised three sons, Stanley, Walter and Phillip. On Dec. 31, 1964, he married Alice Wentzel in Livermore Falls.

He worked as a farmer for Harold Souther for 40 years and also as a landfill attendant in Livermore Falls. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, visiting with family and friends and always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Alice of Lewiston; five sons, Ronald Hunt and his wife, Erica, of Alaska, Bradley Hunt of Livermore Falls, Stanley Hunt and his wife, Helena, of Burnham, Walter Hunt of Pittsfield and Phillip Hunt and his wife, Christine, of Mechanic Falls; a daughter, Wanda Hunt and her companion, Dan Butler, of Goffstown, N.H.; a brother, Richard Hunt and his wife Shirley of Colorado; two sisters, Phyllis Mitchell and her husband, Benjamin, of New Vineyard and Mary White of Turner; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Holly Hunt; four brothers, William, Everett, Bertram, and Erland Hunt; and two sisters, Annie Stevens and Arlene Phillips.
