SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Gregory A. Llewellyn died May 19 in California, after a brief hospital stay.

He was born in Rumford on July 25, 1946, the son of Benjamin Llewellyn Sr. and Marguerite Johnson Llewellyn. He attended Oxford Village schools and was an avid reader.

He traveled the country in the 1960s and settled in the San Francisco area in the 1970s.

He is survived by daughter, Jessica of San Francisco, Calif.; mother, Marguerite Llewellyn of Norway; sister, Lucille Bressette and husband, Robert, of Poland; sister, Elizabeth Ordway of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Benjamin Llewellyn Jr. and wife, Mary, of Norway; sister, Gloria Long and husband, Robert, of Morristown, Tenn.; sister, Debra Llewellyn of Norway; sister, Judith Chandonnet of Elgin, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Benjamin Llewellyn Sr.
