AUBURN – Bruce A. Pulkkinen, 62, of Skillings Corner Road, Auburn, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 20.

He was born in Lewiston on June 25, 1945, the son of Louise Pulkkinen Voter and Arvid Pulkkinen. He received his education in the South Paris school system.

He married Rosemarie Southard on Dec. 28, 1968. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was self-employed for 39 years, and hauled bulk milk for Agri-Mark.

He loved his family dearly and was a kind and gentle man to everyone. He loved to go out to eat with friends, and was always active. He loved all animals including their six cats.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Pulkkinen; a son, Darren Pulkkinen and his wife, Brenda; a sister, Olga Iwans and her husband, Donald; a brother, Omer Pulkkinen and his wife, Gayla; a sister, Patricia Jordan and her husband, Edwin Jr.; and a brother, Dwinal Pulkkinen and his wife, Martha.
