JAY – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for Raymond J. Boivin at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay preceded by prayers at Finley Funeral Home, Livermore Falls. Officiating was the Rev. Roger Chabot. Gifts were brought to the altar by his grandchildren, Amy Niedner and Erin Boivin. Hymns were sung by the resurrection choir and accompanied by Therese Therrien. Military bearers were Francis Therrien, Palmer Hebert, Wally Tripp and Roland Therrien. Firing squad members were Richard Dupont, Dick Moreau, David O. Smith, Joe Groomes, Greg McDonald, Bob Welch, Bill Therrien and Robert Roy. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
