AUGUSTA – Catherine C. Kincaid, 88, of Captain Lewis Nursing Home in Farmingdale, and formerly of Turner, died Friday, May 9, at Augusta Rehab, after a long illness.

She was born in Bath on Feb. 3, 1920, a daughter to the late Frank and Laura (Babine) White.

Catherine devoted her life to being a caregiver; she took care of her parents and after they passed, she took care of her sister until she passed.

She was a very devoted and active member of St. Philips Church. Catherine made many quilts for raffles to benefit the church.

She was a member of Turner Senior Citizens, Philippian Senior Group and The Family Group at St. Philips Church.

She leaves many nieces, nephews, and great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Kincaid; a sister, Emily Kingston; and three brothers, Clifford, Leo and Ernest White.
