LEWISTON – Claire J. Marcoux, 57, of Lewiston, died peacefully Monday, April 28, at her residence.

She was born in Lewiston on June 14, 1950, the daughter of Bertrand and Theresa (Jutras) Marcoux and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed at Hartford Insurance Agency/International Insurance Services for 37 years. She was a very compassionate person, caring for her mother, Theresa.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Theresa Marcoux of Lewiston; one brother, Robert Marcoux of Long Beach, Calif.; and a special niece and nephew, Audrey Machowski and her husband, James, of Wales and Nathan Marcoux and his wife, Kathleen, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her father, Bertrand Marcoux May 22, 1997; and a brother, Daniel Marcoux June 30, 2006.
