LEWISTON – Lloyd Harold Brown, 60, of Turner, died April 16.

He was born Oct. 6, 1947, in Lewiston the son of Harold and Jenny (Moreau) Brown and was educated in Turner schools. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hiking, camping, kayaking and snowshoeing and especially enjoyed cooking. He was presently training to do his second trek across Maine at the time of his death. He loved to help others and was an avid animal lover and is survived by his two dogs, Kedo and Jewells.

He is survived by his sisters, Beverly Goulet of Minot and Lena Giles of Canton; two aunts, Betty Brown and Frances Brown; one uncle, Chester Buckman; three nephews, Shane Goulet, David Green and Kenny Giles; one niece, Peggy Giles; and six great-nieces and nephews.
