LEWISTON – Brian Richard Johnson, 26, of Lewiston died unexpectedly Saturday, March 29.

He was born in Alexandria, Va., April 5, 1981, the son of Janice and the late Dr. Bruce Johnson. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 2000, and received his B.S. from Johnson and Wales in Providence, R.I., in 2005.

He worked as a shift supervisor at Sam’s Italian Sandwich Shop, Market Place Mall.

He loved family, friends and children. He also loved keeping current with world events, music and movies.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, compassion for others, and his terrific impersonations.

He is survived by his mom, Janice Johnson of Auburn; his sister, Kristen Johnson and her fiancé, Isaac Forbes, of Orono; his maternal grandmother, Mae Koontz of Knoxville, Tenn.; his paternal grandparents, George and Marilyn Johnson of Madison, Wis.; his aunts and uncles, Janis and her husband, Terry Packer, of Arroyo-Grande, Calif., and Mark Jenssen and his wife, Martha O’Brien, of Madison, Wis.; his cousins, Lily and Owen Jenssen; and his many close friends who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his dad, Dr. Bruce Johnson in 1996; and his grandfather, James Koontz.
