LEWISTON – Pauline A. Lapierre, 70, of 83 Manley Road, Auburn, died Monday, March 24, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Lewiston Dec. 15, 1937, a daughter of Dominique and Delia (Gauthier) Roy. On Aug. 6, 1955, she married Raymond Lapierre at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston and together they raised five children.

She was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Parish and she worked for General Electric for nearly 22 years until disability forced her into retirement. She loved to crochet, and during her stay at d’Youville, she quickly earned the title “bingo queen” for she loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Auburn; daughter, Theresa I. Lapierre, of Athens, Ga.; sons, Michael and Gerald Lapierre, of Lewiston; six grandchildren, Courtney Lapierre, Chad Lapierre, Morgan Presley, Dylan Presley, Shayla Lapierre of Greene and Ashley Seile of Augusta.

She was predeceased by sons, Robert Lapierre in 1974 and Richard Lapierre in 2007; her parents; her brother; and two sisters.
