AUBURN – Funeral services honoring the life of Alton “Sandy” Wing were held Friday at Court Street Baptist Church with the Rev. David Clark officiating. Words of remembrance were shared by the Rev. Charles Bray. Delegates representing Maine’s motor transport industry were in attendance. The funeral procession to Gracelawn Memorial Park was led by Auburn police officers Norm Bilodeau and Rick Mercier. After committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Court Street Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Rudy LeBlanc, Dennis Fowler, Larry Hawley, Doug Boyd, Marcel Veilleux, Wayne Jacobs and Dexter Field. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center.
