FARMINGTON – Michelle L. Bennett, 41, formerly of Tolland, Conn., and Mexico, died Thursday, March 13, at Sandy River Center.

She was born in Rumford on May 20, 1966, a daughter of Rosanna (Fortier) and Francis W. Bennett Sr.

She attended schools in Connecticut.

At the age of 17, Michelle was injured in an accident and had been in a coma since that time.

She is survived by her father, Francis W. Bennett Sr. of Tolland, Conn.; her mother and stepfather, Rosanna and Lewis Duguay of Mexico; three sisters, Lisa MacCarthy and husband, John, of Vernon, Conn., Rita Bennett of Willington, Conn., and Ann Bennett of Vernon, Conn.; one brother, Francis W. Bennett Jr. of Windham, Conn.; two nieces, Amanda MacCarthy and Amber Salstrom; one nephew, Matthew MacCarthy; three stepsisters, Betty Cioffa and her companion, Jeff, Tina Poirier and husband, Louie, and Beverly Duguay and husband, Bill Tuttle; and two stepbrothers, Troy Duguay and wife, Andrea, and Cory Duguay and wife, Denise.
