WATERVILLE – James A. Jackson, 71, of Jackman, formerly of South Paris went to be with the Lord on March 6.
He was born July 19, 1936 the son of Harold and Angie (Robbins) Jackson. He was raised in South Paris and graduated from Paris High School, faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. He was close to a 40-year member of Paris Lodge AF&AM.
He had worked for 32-plus years as a supervisor at Maine Machine Products Co. in South Paris, retiring from there and moved to Jackman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Jackman; his children, Terri Wanowski and husband, Harold, Jamie Jackson and companion, Lisa Gilbert, Angela Frye and companion, Don Bisson, Sandra Coburn and husband, Christopher and Douglas Flanigan and wife, Stacy; sisters, Jackie Aceto and husband, Sam, and Shiela Fox; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Angie Jackson; a son, Michael Jackson; and a sister, Patricia Hall.
