WALDOBORO – Virginia Alice Dodge Humason, 87, passed on Feb. 20.

She was born in Boston, Mass., April 7, 1920, to Jesse B. Dodge and Esther D. Marr.

She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Newcastle.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Nomeyko of Brunswick; her brother, Roger B. Dodge and his wife, Dorothy, of Connecticut; her daughter, Dorothy Jones of Wiscasset; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a son, Walter E. Humason.
