NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Robert M. Grover, 71, of Otisfield died Thursday, Feb. 14, at his Florida home in New Port Richey, Fla.
He was born in Oxford on Feb. 19, 1936, the son of Simon and Bessie (Trebilcock) Grover. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1954. He married the late Laurelei (Harney) Grover on March 19, 1960. He worked at Robinsons Manufacturing Co., Bessey Motor Sales, and retired from New England Telephone Co. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tinkering, camping, traveling and especially going to dances.
Survivors include his mother, Bessie Grover from Oxford; three children, Corinna Morse and her husband, Darren, of Harrison, Gordon Grover from South Paris and Gloria Litchfield of South Paris; two sisters, Shirley Bean and her husband, Norman, of Otisfield and Joann Pulkkinen and her husband, Herb, of Oxford; two brothers, Fred Grover of Otisfield and Ronald Grover of Oxford; a sister-in-law, Dolly Hall of Oxford; brother-in-law, Jim Harney and his wife, Sally, of Oxford; five grandchildren, Ryan Grover and his fiancé, Crystal Hill, of Otisfield, Andrew Morrill of Oxford, Jennifer Grover of South Paris and Shelby Grover of Marion, N.C., and a stepgrandchild, Amanda Foster of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his father, Simon Grover; an infant brother, Joseph Grover; his wife Laurelei Grover; and a son-in-law, Kevin Litchfield Sr.
