LEWISTON – Theresa R. (Lafrance) Rice, 77, of Lewiston, died on Feb. 14, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1931, in Dover, N.H., the daughter of Cyrille J. and Alvina M. (Richards) Lafrance.

She was educated in Rumford and Lewiston schools. She was a heal factory worker until her retirement.

She married Deane Rice in 1980. Her cats were her special family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Deane; sister, Rita and husband, Dominique Dick; brother, Edward Lafrance and wife, Pauline; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
