AUBURN – Thomas E. Tierney, 74, of Lewiston, died Feb. 2 at the Hospice House, after a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 30, 1933, the son of John and Clara (Houge) Tierney.

He worked as a carpet installer and enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of the South End Club.

He is survived by two sisters, Peggy Pomerlou and Kathy Rand; and many nieces and nephews.
