LEWISTON – Lena F. Letourneau, 97, formerly of 16 Columbia St., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Montello Manor, where she moved to three months ago from Montello Heights.

She was born in Lawrence, Mass., June 16, 1910, the daughter of Joseph and Flavie Langlais Letalien. She was educated in Waterville schools, including Mount Merici Academy. She was married to Reginald Letourneau Oct. 31, 1932. He predeceased her Aug. 16, 1997.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the local shoe industry and was a member of Holy Family Church, Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the Lewiston Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Beaucage of Spring Hill, Fla.; two grandchildren, Denise Penfield and husband, Richard, of Florida, and Diana Beaucage of Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Penfield and Christopher and Daren Grant.
