WILTON – Memorial services for Sara Frances Parlin were held Saturday at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Wilton, with the Rev. Maragarte Proctor, officiating. “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” was the opening hymn. 1 Corinthians 13, selected verses, John 14, and Romans 8 were the scripture readings, followed by words of remembrance. Psalm 23 was read in unison and the service concluded with “Amazing Grace.” Interment will be in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. After services, a gathering was held at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dennis and Linda Taylor in Wilton.
