LEWISTON – Sherman Robert Jenney, 85, of Rochelle Street, Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Greenwich, Ohio, Sept. 15, 1922, the son of Kenneth and Thelma Bistline Jenney. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was married to Anita Bolduc, who predeceased him in 1992. He was a member of the American Legion Post 135 and the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and times spent at his camp at Lake Moxie.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Pelletier of Seminole, Fla.; a son, Robert Jenney and wife, Nancy, of Lake Worth, Fla.; three grandchildren, Robert Erik Jenney and wife, Paula, Jennifer Pelletier of Florida, and Kim Sands of Lewiston; two great-grandchildren, Andrea Jenney and Aaron Gilks.
He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth, Aug. 7, 1987.
