LEWISTON – Memorial services honoring the life of Richard L. Picard were held Saturday morning at Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, with Deacon Denis Mailhot presiding.
During the Liturgy, readings were given by granddaughter, Deanna Gordon, and by great-granddaughters Kayla and Lindsey Gordon.
Words of remembrance were shared by Richard’s daughter, Barbara Rainville. The American Legion Post 122 of Lisbon then honored Richard with their final salute and prayer.
The United States Army Honor Detail then played Taps and presented our country’s flag to Richard’s wife, Verna, in recognition of his military service during World War II.
All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
