GREENVILLE, R.I., – Ethel B.(Berry) Gould, 90, of Orchard Avenue, Greenville, R.I., passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at the Haven Health Center of Greenville.
She was the wife of the late Conrad Gould.
Born in Pawtucket, R.I., she was a daughter of the late William and Martha (Whittingham) Berry. She lived in Avon, Maine, for 45 years before returning to Greenville in 2006.
For 40 years, Mrs. Gould was the bookkeeper and along with her husband, was the co-owner of the former Phillips Water Co., the former Gould Lumber Co., and the Lindbergh Airport all in Avon, Maine, before retiring in 2006.
She was the mother of Patricia F. Doyle of Greenville, R.I., Raymond J. Almond of Sandy, Utah, and the late William G. Almond.
She leaves nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Grace Headen.
