Rangeley – Stanley “Stan” Bartash, 56, of Loon Lake Road, Rangeley, died at home early Saturday morning surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Oct. 9, 1951, in Rumford, a son of Levi and Mary (Valonis) Bartash, and received his education in local schools.

He was a member and past master of Kemankeag Masonic Lodge 213 AF and AM of Rangeley, and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Western Mountains Shrine Club.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Bartash of Mexico; his daughter, Sherri Quinlan of Lewiston; brothers, James Bartash of Dixfield and Robert Bartash of Lincoln; a sister, Mary Bartash of Antrim, N.H.; also several loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Levi; a sister, Anne; and a brother, David.
