Andrew Edwards and Valerie Bucher

LISBON FALLS — The parents of Valerie Bucher and Andrew Edwards are happy to announce their engagement. Miss Bucher is the daughter of David Bucher of Milton, N.H., and Connie Stessl of Lisbon Falls. Mr. Edwards is the son of Steve and Charline Edwards of Sanford.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Lisbon High School. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in sports medicine and currently works as an athletic trainer for the Center for Therapy and Exercise in Hudson, N.H.

The future bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Sanford High School. He has a degree in construction technology from Southern Maine Technical College and a degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine. He is currently employed at Bluesocket Inc. as a sales operation specialist.

The wedding is planned for the summer of 2010.
