RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Mercier was celebrated Thursday at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd” and “On Eagles’s Wings.” Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at St. Athanasius-St. John Church Hall. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
