LEWISTON – Elizabeth D. Williams, 88, of Lisbon, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was born in Lisbon Falls March 1, 1919, the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Topolosky Janosco. She was educated in Lisbon Falls schools and received her G.E.D.

In November 1938, she married Earl F. Williams Sr. He died June 19, 1966. Together they made their home in Lisbon Falls and raised their three children. She was employed at the Worumbo Mill in Lisbon Falls, later Bedard’s Pharmacy in Lewiston and retired as a librarian aide at the Lisbon Falls Middle School.

She was a member of the former Holy Family Church now Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lisbon Falls and a member of the Daughters Isabella, St. Francis Xavier. Among her interests were sewing, reading and especially her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Hutchins and her husband, Elwyn, of Lisbon Falls; her two sons, Earl F. Williams Jr. and his wife, Jody, of Sabattus and Kenneth Williams and his wife, Elisabeth, of Old Orchard; a sister, Frances Merrill of Durham; two brothers, Joseph Janosco and his wife, Pat, of Lisbon Falls and John Janosco and his wife, Irma, of Lewiston; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her three sisters, Mary Janec, Anna Bartlett and Margaret Hall; and her two brothers, Andrew and Michael Janosco.
