AUBURN – Geraldine “Geri” Bement, 79, of Valview Drive, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her beloved family, and her cat Sydney by her side. She was a registered nurse, bringing care and comfort to her family and patients.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James “Jim” Bement of Auburn; her four sons, Jim Bement of Santa Barbara, Calif., Ray Bement of Millinocket, Neil Bement and his wife, Susan, of Auburn and Robert “Scott” Bement and his wife, Jan, of Sacramento, Calif.; her grandchildren, Candace Pomerleau, Jen VanValkenburgh, Julie Bement, Jackie Parent, Brian and Alex Bement; along with eight great-grandchildren will fondly remember her for her poetry and homemade brownies.
